What is net emission?
Net emission is the combination of two terms net [gross] and emission [something that is discharged] so net emission is a big process in which the deduction of methane, carbon dioxide, and other manmade greenhouse gases must be reduced to obtain a certain purpose for the earth so that the whole environment system get back in balance once again. In simpler words the removal or reduction of greenhouse gases, specifically carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Why net emission is required?
To stop global warming and rapid global climatic changes net emission is crucial. It will also help to improve health as from the emission we get the clean and fresh air, pure water, and healthy diet, in short, we will get the pollution-free surroundings and its other benefit is to the global economy as it will cut down the expenditures which are going to be consumed on climatic changes. It will also help to maintain global biodiversity, due to global warming and climatic changes many flora and fauna are lost over the last century, and to prevent further loss we have to stop the use of the things that are the main cause of it.
Can we reach zero net emission by mid-century?
Yes! It’s a piece of great news that we can attain zero net emission with new era technologies that are renewable energy. The energy obtained from renewable resources is enormous which means it will stabilize the emission and so it’s renewable hence it is endless. We can use biomass energy hydropower, geothermal power, wind energy, and solar energy. If we shift to clean energy it will reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and that’s how we can accomplish the target of zero net emission. Most of the developed nations like the USA, Canada Japan, etc already agree to net-zero emission by 2050. According to ZERO NET TRACKER, 136 countries are considering agreeing on net-zero by 2050, whereas India is announcing to achieve the net-zero target by 2070 and Kenya has no net-zero target.
