Women’s Mental Health Issues:

Women face a lot of difficulties throughout their life whether they are working women or housewives or both. Being a woman is so much more difficult and a lot of troubles make life suck and it deeply affects mental health. Let’s understand how can we come over through such difficulties and make life worth living.
Ø Difficulties & the 3L rule:
A woman has to face a lot of discrimination throughout her life, she has to prove herself, and her worth and has to make a balance between personal and professional life. Sometimes women have to choose between family and career and honestly, it makes life miserable for women. Women have to go through social discrimination and there’s peer pressure in schooling and college life and then have career issues and later on marital responsibilities as well as maternal responsibilities. After marriage and having a baby, mostly, women forget that they also have a life, and they give up on their careers and education or learn new skills. Women take care of everything but forget that in between all of these responsibilities they are ignoring their life.
Due to responsibilities, women don’t have time for their personal space, and violence against women makes it worse for their mental health and leads them to anxiety, depression, lower self-confidence, irritability, and incessant tiredness.
With the help of the 3L rules, women can get over these difficulties:
· The 3L rule is LIVE, LOVE & LAUGH
1. LIVE: Whether you’re studying or doing a job or taking care of home don’t forget you have a life to live. Take time to live and never give up on education.
2. LOVE: It’s your choice to be a working woman or a housewife but what matters is that you love and respect your choices. Do what you love like travel, read books spend time with loved ones, and so on.
3. LAUGH: Most important you’ve to laugh. Laugh at your problems, laugh at anything because laughing is an exercise it makes your mind diverted. If you have a positive mindset then everything will be easy for you and laughter bring positivity to your life.
Ø Work & Home:
There are different pressure on women who manage work and home both. Let’s see how we can make time for ourselves in between all this.
1. First, make a schedule to manage your time and try to stick to it so you may have time for yourself too.
2. If you can afford a domestic worker then what are you waiting for? Hire them as soon as possible.
3. On weekends go and explore new places and meet with friends so you may feel you have a life.
4. Track your time
5. Stay away from social media, or it will increase your stress as well as waste your time
Ø Meditation & Exercise:
To decrease stress and tension, you should need medical help along with meditation, and exercise. Mediation will bring back positivity and make your mindset strong and bring a positive attitude to yourself. Exercise will make the body fit and strong, and provide more oxygen to the brain which makes brain cells grow. It is very necessary to meditate and do exercise on regular basis for a healthy body and mind.
